LIU BOLIN AND THE GAO BROTHERS ON DISPLAY AT BORDEAUX

The Bernard Magrez Cultural Institute succeeded in gathering in Bordeaux eleven among the most influential contemporary Chinese artists of their generation worldwide, between them Liu Bolin and the Gao Brothers. Main theme of the exhibition is the representation of the body  and of the individual within the Chinese society's evolotion. 

From photography to painting, more than 50 artworks represent the body as an estetic object bearer of significance and symbols . Theatrical, free and expressive these artworks navigate through the traditional and revolutionary imaginary of an ancient yet ever-evolving culture.
